Jim Haferman
Professional Jim Haferman attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. After graduation, he was an adjuster for American Family Insurance and served in the Wisconsin National Guard. He attended the University of Wisconsin- Madison Law School and wrote for the Wisconsin Law Review. He received the Order of the Coif for graduating in the top ten percent of his class. In 1973, he returned to Stevens Point to practice law. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and Wisconsin Association for Justice. |
His practice areas include divorce, child custody/placement, car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, boating and snowmobile accidents, work-related injuries and boundary disputes.
Community:
Jim has been active in the community for many years. He has served as board member for Central Wisconsin Area Community Theatre and as president and board member for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Portage County.
Family/Interests:
Jim and his wife, Lenore, have two adult sons, Tim and Brian, and grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, curling, judo, golf, and woodworking
